Axis Services Terms & Liability

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Overview

These Service Terms apply to all repair, diagnostic, and IT services provided by Axis Services ("we," "our," or "us"), a division of Axis App Studio. By requesting, scheduling, or using our services, you agree to these terms. These terms are separate from any terms governing Axis App Studio's software products.

Please read these terms carefully before submitting a service request.

2. Independent Service Provider

Axis Services is an independent service provider. We are not an authorized dealer, reseller, or representative of, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by, any equipment manufacturer, including Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, HP, Epson, Kyocera, Sharp, FUJIFILM, EFI, or Fiery. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the equipment we service.

3. Quotes & Approval

We will not begin paid work without your approval:

  • Diagnostics may be required before a repair can be quoted accurately.
  • A written or verbal quote will be provided before any repair work begins.
  • No charges for repair labor or parts are incurred until you approve the quoted work.
  • If a repair is declined after an approved diagnostic fee, only the diagnostic fee (if any, and as disclosed up front) applies.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Back up your data. You are solely responsible for backing up all data and software before any service. We are not responsible for data loss.
  • Remove or disable any passwords, security software, or encryption that would prevent us from accessing the equipment for authorized service.
  • Provide accurate information about the equipment, its condition, and its history.
  • Ensure you have the legal right to have the equipment serviced.

5. Data & Confidentiality

We treat your data as confidential and use it only to provide the requested service. However:

  • We are not responsible for the security, integrity, or preservation of any data on equipment during service.
  • You acknowledge that diagnostics and repairs may require access to data, storage media, and software on the equipment.
  • We may decline service if we reasonably believe the equipment contains illegal or harmful content.

6. Remote Access Consent

For remote diagnostics and repairs, you consent to us accessing the equipment, network, or computer remotely using a secure connection, for the purpose of diagnosis and repair. You are responsible for scheduling, providing access, and ensuring you have authority to grant access. We will not access anything beyond what is needed to perform the requested service.

7. Ship-In Repairs

For devices shipped to us for repair, the following additional terms apply:

  • Contact us first. Never ship a device before receiving instructions from us about how, where, and when to send it.
  • You are responsible for properly packing the device and for all shipping costs.
  • You are responsible for insuring the device during transit. We are not responsible for damage or loss that occurs in transit.
  • You must back up all data before shipping; we are not responsible for data loss.
  • We will provide a quote and obtain your approval before performing any paid repair.
  • Unclaimed equipment: if an approved repair is not picked up or returned within a reasonable period, we may charge storage fees or dispose of the equipment as permitted by law.

8. Parts & Hardware

Repairs may use new, remanufactured, or compatible parts. We will disclose the type of parts used in your quote. Parts carry only the warranties stated by their manufacturers, and any warranty we provide on parts or labor will be described in writing at the time of the quote.

9. Limited Warranty & No Guarantee of Results

Our services are provided on a best-efforts basis. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, and we make no warranty that any repair will fully or permanently resolve a problem, or that any equipment will perform to the specification set by its manufacturer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Axis Services, its owners, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or damage to equipment or other property, arising out of or related to our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axis Services and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of our services, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Service Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
